“I have long valued Carol as a thought partner and a true collaborator. She is positive and collegial, and when Carol is leading or facilitating a project, I am confident that we’ll be focused and get results.”

Founded in 2013 by Carol Olson, Basecamp Strategies provides a unique approach to consulting. We partner, support, and collaborate. We do not work from templates or formulas, we ask questions, listen, reflect, and guide. Our course of action is tailored to our clients’ needs.

Carol Olson has a 20-year background in non-profit and foundation management, and has taken on the challenges and reaped the rewards of community service from every angle. Her experience as a CEO, a Board Chair, a Program Officer, a classroom volunteer, an events manager, a PR director, and a volunteer coordinator means Carol appreciates the many contributing roles in the non-profit and philanthropic world.

Over the last 20 years, Carol has worked with non-profit organizations and foundations to find collaborative solutions to complex problems. In particular, she
